We have an exciting opportunity to work for the fastest growing multichannel toy retailer in the UK. Our client has been around for 38years and have over 170+ retail stores stretched across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the islands and they are still growing!

This is a fantastic role in their busy Logistics Planning team for an Assistant Logistics Planner, reporting into their Logistics Planning Coordinator.

The main objective of the role will be to manage the replenishment system to ensure product is despatched to the stores in accordance with business needs and stock and sales opportunities are optimised across the business. You will be required to manage the allocation of stock from the warehouse to the UK stores to optimise store availability to support sales and physical merchandising. Working closely with the buyers, stock integrity and warehouse teams identifying and resolving any stock issues.

Also working very closely with the Planning and Allocation Team to ensure effective planning of inbound/outbound stock flow to create a dynamic and ever changing mix of product to create the best customer experience and ensure this is reflected on the profimetrics system.

The ideal candidate will have retail experience and a strong background in logistics / demand planning and / or merchandise planning management. Replenishment experience would also be an advantage and practical experience of using Excel at an intermediate level. Someone who has worked within the Retail or FMCG sector has a logical and methodical approach with good problem solving skills.

Our client is easily commutable from High Wycombe, Amersham, Beaconsfield and accessible from the M40.

Salary £26-£30K and Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00 – 5.00pm / 8.30am – 5.30pm
