Walters People are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to fulfil a 12 month maternity cover.
This is an exciting and varied role working for a dynamic organisation with a good company culture based in Milton Keynes.
The responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant will include, but not be limited to:
– Bank reconciliations – both GBP and multi currency
– Preparing the daily cash report
– Process supplier payments
– Fixed asset control including depreciation calculation and reconciliations
– Balance sheet reconciliations
– Intercompany accounts reconciliation
– Ad hoc tasks/ projects.
This role entails a lot of complex bank reconciliations so experience working across multiple bank accounts and with multi currency is a big advantage.
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards a recognise accountancy qualification.
This role is currently remote working from home but will be based in the Milton Keynes office once people start returning.
