Senior Rent Recovery Officer

Salary: £37,000 per annum

High Wycombe / Beaconsfield area – Working from home currently

Immediate start where possible

Full Time / Permanent

37 hours a week

Are you looking for a new role in Rent Recovery?

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Rent Recovery Officer to join them on a full time, permanent basis, to line manage a small team and reduce arrears levels within assigned patches, having regard to the aim of sustaining tenancies.

Job requirements:

Take charge of a small team of 3-5 Rent Recovery Officers (including one to ones, caseload reviews and performance management)

*

Setting short and long term objectives, conducting one to ones, annual reviews and discussing personal development plans

*

Take ownership and provide expertise in a particular specialism.

What they're looking for:

*

Recent and relevant experience in a housing association or local authority.

*

Up to date knowledge of Universal Credit, Housing Benefits, Welfare Reforms and housing legislation.

*

Experience in Rent Recovery and attending court.

*

Hold a full driving licence.

You will be office based in Wooburn Green, High Wycombe however you should have the ability to work from home (a configured laptop and mobile phone will be provided for this purpose) as they are currently accessing the office on a rota basis during the Covid 19 restrictions. Free parking onsite and located less than five minutes’ drive from junction 3 of the M40.
