Buckinghamshire County Council are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Adult Safeguarding Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.
The ideal Social Worker will have extensive experience in a Safeguarding environment. The key to success in this role is to treat every case individually to create the best possible outcomes – whilst being able to provide solid advice and guidance to others in the team.

A stable contract due to the demand of the serviceYour responsibilities as an Adult Safeguarding Senior Practitioner:
Deal with Safeguarding enquiries
Promote service user independence where possible
Carry out MCA assessments
Undertake Section 42 enquires
Implement care plans and care packages
Provide advice and guidance to others in the team when necessaryRequirements of you as an Adult Safeguarding Senior Practitioner:
A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid Social Work England registration
Have competent knowledge and experience of Safeguarding work
A valid UK driving licence and car are preferred
Location: Buckinghamshire
Umbrella pay rate: from £36.00 per hour
