Buckinghamshire Healthcare Projects Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and a Social Enterprise. We were incorporated in 2018 to provide services that support the Trust to achieve its vision and strategy, and to deliver a financial return that can be reinvested in NHS services. We are a profitable company, who have developed a platform for growth, currently providing outpatient pharmacy services and with a developing retail business.
We have ambitious plans and the next three-year plan will see us treble turnover, expanding into new business and service provision areas. As part of this expansion plan, we will explore growth opportunities relating to the existing Private Patient services on behalf of BHT. To deliver the next phase of growth we need an experienced and dynamic Private Patients Manager to help design, build and deliver this business, working with clinicians to develop well run and profitable Private Patients business for the future.
There are a lot of opportunities to be developed. Our parent company, Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, are a provider of acute hospital and community services for 600,000 people living in Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties. The Trust provides numerous nationally recognised speciality areas, including the internationally recognised National Spinal Injuries Centre, many of which would provide an ideal foundation upon which to build a significant private patients business.
As a suitable candidate you will be commercially and politically astute, with strong interpersonal, negotiating and business skills. In addition, you will have developed strong financial acumen to ensure best value is delivered through all services. You will also have the ability to engage across the Trust at all levels, work collaboratively internally and externally, and present to mixed audiences in an engaging, persuasive and stimulating way.
