Prison Contractor Escort

Location: HMP Woodhill

Rate: £8.87ph

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contractor Escort to join the works team on behalf of our client Gov Facility Services. The environment can be a challenging but rewarding one. You will be engaged on a temporary contract but due to the high demand of work this opportunity will be long term and you will have the opportunity to apply for permanent positions or to register your interest in other roles within the prison.

Both temporary and permanent candidates working for our client have been identified as key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, due to the critical work that they undertake to maintain the prison estate

The stability and security that they can offer is now more relevant than ever.

No qualifications or previous experience is necessary. Full training will be provided by the site. However, it is essential that you are able to communicate effectively.

You will be working with and supporting the security team. Responsible for escorting visitors and building contractors throughout the prison and outside areas. Other duties will include (but not be limited to):

– Escorting contractors

– Checking & searching visitors

– Radio handling

– Stores duties

– Routine administrative work

– Contractor tool checks

– Searching buildings

– Following Health & Safety procedures

To be able to work for our client, it is essential that you have the ability to pass a DBS of a standard/enhanced level.

If you already hold a current DBS, EL1 or EL2, previous CTC clearance or have worked in that environment before, we are looking to speak to you!
