Payroll Specialist
High Wycombe / Beaconsfield
Salary: circa £22,500 per annum
Contract: 9 month fixed term contract
Hours: 18.5 per week – days worked to be agreed
Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll & Employment Tax Specialist to join their team in this newly created position.
You’ll invest time in advising the organisation on legislative changes surrounding payroll, pensions and benefits, and identify how these will impact the organisation whilst ensuring the best provision to the business. You will respond to individual and potentially complex queries, ensuring that colleagues understand relevant details and are signposted to external bodies where needed.
Further to this you’ll ensure that the group’s policies, procedures, standards and values are adhered to and developed appropriately, support the Payroll function with all aspects of payroll processing where necessary, and support with process documentation creation.
With a thorough understanding of payroll procedures and systems, you’ll have demonstrable experience in preparing and operating payroll within a medium/large organisation and up to date knowledge of payroll/pension statutory requirements and legislation.
It would be advantageous to have used MHR iTrent & Business Objects but this is not essential. Ideally you will also hold a Professional Payroll Qualification (part qualified / working towards).
