If you have a background in Environmental Health, Food Safety and Covid, this role would be fantastic for you.

Be ready for a little bit if everything, the balance of Covid/ Food Safety work will depend on the current cases and outbreak reports in the area. Covid work will consist of back tracing outbreaks, covid compliance infectious disease control. If the cases drop down, attention will be turned to routine Food inspections, complaints, and disease outbreak investigations.

Getting yourself out and about is a bonus of this role, finally changing up your scenery and getting involved with the community again.

Flexible working arrangements are available, with 2-3 days a week home working, depending on the work load that week.

Open to anyone with the EHORB registration or higher certificate, with experience in Local Authority.

This is a 6 month contract initially, with prospects to extend. Rates £35 – £40 per hour.
