The role is permanent and is for Secure Care Officers for our client in Milton Keynes.

Ideal candidates will be caring, resilient, have good communication and listening skills.  It would be advantageous to have experience of working with children and families, either in a social care setting but supporting using your life skills or transferable skills will also be considered and in some cases, actively encouraged.  Candidates will demonstrate the value of education and care, and how developing skills and changing behaviour, can help to encourage the trainees not to re-offend when released.

The job involves working with children who have been detained and in a secure setting.  Working as a Secure Care Officer, will be rewarding and can be challenging and will offer many opportunities to use your own experiences and make big differences to the lives of these children. 

This role will have an extensive training program to ensure you are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed and make real differences.
