About the role:
They are currently seeking a Risk Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Governance, the main purpose of this role is to manage the Group Risk Management Framework.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Working with departments across the group to provide support in the management and application of the Risk Management Framework
*
Working with departments to review policies involving risk management and assurance
*
Ensuring policies and procedures provide effective controls in respect of areas of risk
*
Ensuring that risk registers are maintained and up to date
*
Supporting the Head of Governance in meeting board requirements for risk information and assurance and to review the risk appetite
*
Ensuring that risk management systems are maintained and that risk controls, actions, scores and assurance are consistent across the organisation
*
Ensuring that risk owners are trained in the risk management framework and the operation of the risk management system
What they’re looking for:

Degree level qualification or equivalent (including equivalent experience)
*
Experience from within a risk, compliance or audit function
*
Experience of designing, developing and delivering risk frameworks
*
Ability to build relationships for the effective management of risk frameworks
*
Ability to produce clear and useful formal documentation
*
Experience of presenting risk frameworks and reports
*
Capable of leading risk related projects from concept to completion
*
Approachable, adaptable and flexible – not afraid to challenge
*
Knowledge of social housing related risk management processes (desirable)
