Mobile Maintenance
Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire

Hexagon FM have a brand-new opportunity for a maintenance engineer to work on general maintenance across commercial and domestic sites across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire.

Due to expansion of their properties and contracts, our client is currently looking for a Maintenance engineer to join their busy team and to demonstrate high quality workmanship, ideally someone who is multiskilled and has experience on building maintenance on domestic and commercial sites.

Duties include:

Plumbing maintenance – changing taps/washers.
Carpentry/Joinery – Fixing doors, windows, locks, replacing door handles.
Basic electrical maintenance, ie changing light fixtures, light bulbs
PAT Testing.
Cover planned maintenance and repairs.
Painting and Decorating.
Repairing slight damages in walls (light plastering)
Typical 'Handyman' type duties.
Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
Offer an excellent level of customer service and act respectfully.
Complete reports where required on works completed.

What's required
Were looking for someone with ideally the following skills.

Health and Safety qualification
Experience of working within domestic housing.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience completing minor repairs
Good attention to detail.
Use own initiative
Knowledge of maintenance and repair issues.
A Relevant recognised qualification in a hard services trade. ie plumbing/carpentry/electrical.
Friendly approachable and excellent attitude to work

What you will get in return
This role is been offered on a temporary contract with a view to go permanent after 12 weeks, however, if you want to stay on an ongoing temporary contract our client will consider this and look at all options for you.
