Connells Group have an opportunity for an HR Assistant to join our HR Operations team. Based in Milton Keynes, the HR Administration team provide a range of seamless administrative activities to our people, covering mainly the employment lifecycle processes, allowing them to spend their time focusing on our customers. From processing changes to terms and conditions, benefits administration, database amendments through to leaver arrangements, the team will be responsible for a range of different processes and must be agile and quick to respond to changes to these in a fast-moving environment
About you:
As a HR Assistant you will be responsible for providing excellent advice and support to our colleagues on a range of queries. You will need to be a sound communicator and team player, with a genuine desire for providing our colleagues with best service possible.
You will be responsible for:
* Taking ownership of tasks and see them through to resolution, raising issues if timelines become compromised
* Be proactive in understanding HR policy and process, and take the initiative to develop your knowledge further
* Building relationships with the business and wider HR Operations team to develop a greater understanding of how your performance can impact other areas of the business
* Supporting the development and administration skills of our people by sharing knowledge across the team
* Working diligently to ensure tasks and processes are completed accurately and within agreed service levels
* Working closely with the HR Shared Service Manager and the HR Support team to build knowledge and share best practice within the HR team and beyond
Your experience and skills will include:
* Previous experience in a HR support role
* A good understanding of employment and HR processes
* Demonstrate strong communication, influencing and customer services skills
* Experience working in a fast paced and pressured environment
* Ability to prioritise your work load effectively whilst not impacting customer service
