About the role:
They have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Housing Co-ordinator to join their team, developing cohesive and thriving communities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
*
Implementing sustainable and measurable changes to reduce social and health inequalities.
*
Working closely with public health, local authorities and other key stakeholders to identify and deliver on key projects.
*
Utilise relevant data and customer feedback to contribute to, deliver and advise on place-based working projects such as fuel poverty, digital inclusion, air quality, property issues and wider environmental projects to tackle social and health inequalities.
*
You’ll organise and deliver workshops and information events.
*
Supporting the Community Investment Manager, you’ll source and apply appropriate funding opportunities.
*
You’ll work with the Communications team to promote communities and environments projects, both on the Group’s website and relevant social media channels.
What they’re looking for:
*
Experience of working in a similar role, liaising with key partners, such as Public Health or other voluntary organisations.
*
Experience of supporting or directing projects tackling health and social inequalities.
*
Relevant experience within a social housing or similar environment, working with disadvantaged communities to deliver initiatives to improve quality of life, sustainability and bring about positive changes.
*
Experience and/or knowledge of Social Return on Investment models (SROI)
*
You’ll hold strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to establish effective partnerships
