Salary – £18,000 + Commission OTE £28,000
Countrywide are currently looking to recruit a Sales Consultant to work as part of their General Insurance Sales Team.
You will be motivated and driven to succeed with a desire to achieve retention and conversion targets, as well as delivering a high level of customer service.
You will work well in a team environment ensuring quality and professional standards are adhered to in line with the team objectives
Examples of what you will be doing:
* Arranging new or adding benefit to existing General Insurance products for our customers.
* Servicing leads received from colleagues within the Countrywide Group
* First line of communication for all sales related General Insurance Calls
* Demonstrate achieving required standards to drive sales results and team success.
* Achieve Quality standards set out by Governing bodies to sell insurance products to our customers competently
* Demonstrate Quality through assessment and observation of calls and respond to feedback sessions to ensure standards and controls are adhered to.

* Use superb interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with existing customers to encourage brand loyalty and improve retention opportunity.
* Deliver exceptional service to customer through intelligent selling and retention by matching customer`s needs to our relevant products and services.
* Take personal responsibility for delivering quality, retention and service targets, through focused inbound and outbound telephony campaigns.
* Take personal accountability for each customer you interact with and ensure queries are resolved at first point of contact where possible.
* Ensure all customer interactions and activities adhere to internal standard and external regulatory requirements.
Experience you have that will set you up for success:
* Proven success in background of sales and retention
* Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
* Ambition and determination to succeed whilst ensuring the customer receives and excellence of customer experience.
* Positive, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative and deal with simultaneous activities.
* Ability to work in a team and share best customer practice with team colleagues to ensure the goals of the team are achieved as well as individual goals and targets.
Other helpful things to know:
* Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
* Experience of a Telephony sales or customer service role would be desirable but not mandatory
