At Sorbon Estates we acquire, invest, develop, lease and retain commercial property across several asset classes within the Thames Valley and Greater London area including Marlow, Maidenhead and other market towns. We have a multimillion-pound portfolio of assets – nearly 1,300 businesses and families live or work in our properties – and we are expanding further within our region.
With a Beaconsfield office, with around 30 people, we closely manage, using mainly in-house resources, most aspects of the business. The size of our business and entrepreneurial spirit encourages increased responsibility and we like to think that anyone who works with us can make a difference.

What you’ll be doing
* Actively and professionally manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties to meet / exceed budgeted rent, occupancy, and expenditure targets, ensuring compliance with relevant standards
* Work alongside our Managing Director on value add projects and manage the smaller projects to completion
* Drive value from lease renewals, regears and reviews
* Work in partnership with the maintenance team on tenant repairs, planned work to properties and dilapidations
* Effectively manage utilities and service charges for your portfolio
* With a good knowledge of lease terms you will ensure that tenant covenants are followed
* Develop good working relationships with tenants, local authorities and solicitors.
Skill and experience
* Excellent understanding and application of landlord and tenant legislation
* Proven experience within a commercial property management department
* Knowledge of property management accounting including statements of account, service charges and arrears recovery
* Ideally RICS qualified (not essential) with proven post qualification experience
* Forms professional and conducive relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Strong negotiator with client facing skills.
