We currently have a vacancy within for an Empty Homes Inspector based in Milton Keynes on a Permanent basis. Reporting to the Service Manager you will be required to carry out property inspections prior to and on completion of Empty Homes work across Milton Keynes & the surrounding areas.

Skills / Experience Essential:

Up to date knowledge of building construction, repairs and safety legislation.
Up to date knowledge of housing sector best practice and relevant legislation.
Experience of repairs/EH management information systems.
Excellent oral and written communications.
Experience of delivering a high-quality services.
Sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
Excellent knowledge of Schedule of Rates job specification.Desirable:

Experience of recording data accurately onto handheld devices.
Experience of working as part of a team who deliver front line services.
Extensive knowledge of building maintenance technical operationsEssential Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade
