As Bid Writer/Manager you will be part of the wider Business Development / Bid Team and be responsible for bid/proposals and documentation for a number of new soft services clients. The business operate in Cleaning & Security sector and are looking for a Bid Writer/Manager for the production of PQQ, tender responses, presentations and client proposals. You must be able to manage existing text as well as write new text to support a range of customers.
The business are very customer centric, and so working with customers in mind is essential. This role is 50/50 split between home and the office working.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Business Development team to deliver targeted and successful tenders
* Writing of new proposals
* Bid submissions.
* Responding accurately to PQQs, RFPs, ITTs, and other bid documents.
* All documentation produced to follow approved bid protocol processes.
* Proof reading, checking drafts for readability, clarity, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
* Undertake set projects as determined by the line manager.
* Salesforce experience is not essential, but would help your application.
What you'll need:
* Previous experience with managing bid processes, ideally in soft FM
* Previous experience of Salesforce beneficial.
* Self-motivated to complete tasks and achieve goals.
* Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
* Experience in a professional services environment.
* A proven track record of managing within a bid team.
* Experience of designing and producing bids.
* Possess an excellent level of IT literacy.
* Highly flexible and adaptable.
