We are currently looking for a Reward, Benefits & Performance Adviser for our client, The OU in Milton Keynes. This is a temporary role to start ASAP until 11th December 2020. You will be paid £17.57 – £20.00 per hour.

About the Role
To contribute to the implementation and application of pay, reward, benefits and performance strategies to enable the University to deliver its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Play an active role in delivering the pay, reward, recognition and benefits strategies to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the strategic objectives of the University.
Ensure reward and benefits strategies, frameworks and practice (both tangible and non-tangible) comply with University and public-sector regulations, governance and are legally compliant.
Responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the senior staff pay review to ensure the review is completed in line with the plan including, communication with key stakeholders, the preparation of communications material and papers required for University Governance committees.
Undertake salary and benefits survey benchmarking and the analysis, interpretation and presentation of published data to enable the university to remain competitive and an employer of choice
To assess and interpret the outcomes of regular equal pay and gender pay gap reporting and assist with action planning to reduce any gaps identified.
Assist as required with other reward activities as required. i.e. liaising with HR on reward related issues, providing guidance on reward frameworks, supporting with benchmarking roles vs. internal and external comparators, analysis and interpretation of reward data and making recommendations on approach
Assist in the management of the annual Performance management process and ensure it is effectively communicated to managers and staff and HR teams have a clear understanding of their role.
To keep abreast of new and changing legislation/regulations that will have an impact on the reward landscape
