An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permanent Recruitment Consultant based in Amersham, Bucks to join a family-owned independent Recruitment Agency.

The role will suit someone currently working in recruitment or ideally with recent recruitment experience, who is looking for a responsible role in a small, supportive and collaborative team and has a strong team ethic.
The role:
* Running the Permanent placement desk.
* Sourcing candidates to match your client’s recruitment needs, making candidate calls to new and existing candidates.
* Screening and interviewing Candidates and reference checking.
* Taking down concise job descriptions from clients so to fill bookings with the most appropriate candidate.
* Contacting new clients to source new roles. Visiting new and existing clients where possible to understand the nature of the business.
* Will need to communicate effectively with clients (by phone, face to face, video links, network at conferences etc.)
* Compliance checks (ensuring candidates have all their documents).
* Managing your own desk and looking after your portfolio of clients.
* Working to monthly KPI’s and targets.
* Listing vacancies on our website, jobs boards and social media.
* Maintain and update all company databases and requirements of the role.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous Recruitment or Sales experience would be desirable
* High level of customer service
* Experience in working to targets
* Ability to proactively developing new business
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work hands on, multitask and get to know all aspects of how the office runs
* To be a team player who supports and helps other staff members
* Providing cover of Temp desk during staff holidays and absence (full training given)
Hours: Full time 5 days per week. Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
