Reporting to the People Partner the People Advisor supports the delivery of people plans within sponsored area through professional & credible partnerships, providing advice and counsel to stakeholders on standard people related matters and interdependencies. The People Advisor provides information and data insights with first level analysis to the decision making and recommendation processes for the development of future plans. The role will provide support and guidance to stakeholders on all generalist HR aspects of the employee life cycle ensuring the HR function provides a professional customer focused service to the business that drives results and engages people.
Responsibilities include
Actively advises on all elements of the employee life cycle, providing relevant up to date information on policies and processes to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions and judgement with regards to their teams
Provides generalist HR support to managers by providing coaching, constructive challenge and objective feedback, escalating more complex matters to People Partners, whilst providing guidance to less experienced HR team members
Liaise with subject matter experts within the broader Human Resources team (e.g., Recruitment team, Reward and Recognition specialist [R&RS] and leadership and development specialist [L&D]) to obtain support, lead changes or resolve issues where people impact are evident working to create a seamless end to end colleague experience
Monitors and maintains accurate records, adhering to all legislative requirements which support HR data analytics by providing insights to support the evolvement of people practices
Acting as a coach on daily HR people practices enabling our line managers to own the day-to-day colleague experience
Support the drive of a values lead culture and embed our values in all we do, coaching and guiding where these are not being lived
Ensure our practices are aligned to Employer Brand, taking active steps so we are known as an employer of choice You will be expected to have knowledge of the following:
CIPD (preferred, qualified or part qualified level 3-5) with evidence of continued professional
Must have previous experience in a logistics / manufacturing / supply chain environment.
Passionate and energised team player embracing opportunities to collaborate with broader diverse teams
Experienced & credible HR generalist with previous experience ideally in a similar environment with a real interest in what we do
Ability to plan and prioritise within a fast-paced environment through exceptional organisational skills and time management of self and others
High level of written and verbal communication including presentation skills to support projects and initiatives
Proficient in the use of MS Office with experience in managing databases with a high attention to detailWhat we are offering
