Part-Time HR Executive
12 month Fixed Term Contract
25 Hours per Week
£24,000 Pro Rata

In the role of Part-Time HR Executive, you will be responsible for providing administration support to the HR team, acting as a point of contact, providing a face-to-face service as well as telephone support to employees on a broad range of issues and referring to the relevant HR team members where necessary. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
The preparation of offer letters and changes to contracts as required.
Administration of HR matters such as the starter, leaver, transfer and promotion processes and other contractual changes, sickness absence administration, inputting financial and non-financial information onto the HR system accurately and efficiently.
Following the departmental checklists to complete all necessary tasks.
General administration: e.g management of team diaries, processing invoices for payment, issuing eye test vouchers, ordering flowers etc.
Electronic filing of documents using Sharepoint – ensuring system is up to date following monthly payroll processing and for ad hoc filing.
Assisting the HR & Training Manager in the provision of a suite of training available to all staff. This will include administration tasks in relation to internal and external training courses and qualifications such as booking rooms, inputting course details on to the system, processing invoices for payment and ensuring the training budget spreadsheet is maintained and all evaluations forms are completed.
Updating adverts for vacancies using the web recruitment module and general recruitment co-ordination when required such as organising interviews.
Assisting the team with project work.
To support the HR Administrator on the probationary process (including policy checks), taking up and chasing references and promotion processes as required, for all employees.
Supporting the HR Manager based in MK as and when required.
Raising purchase orders on the system for various items across the HR team.
Note taking at disciplinary and grievance meetings as required.
To be a Part-Time HR Executive, you will need to have:
Previous experience of administration and a real desire to work in HR.
Demonstrable experience of using systems.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Previous experience of note taking, or a willingness to learn.
Advanced experience of Word / Excel / Database skills (preferably iTrent and Sharepoint).
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload accordingly.
Flexible and collaborative attitude with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines when required.
Awareness of data protection and handling of confidential and sensitive information.
Excellent attention to detail.
Used to both face to face and digital approach when dealing with internal and external contacts.
