Our client, is a public distance Learning & Research University and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
They are looking to recruit a permanent MI and Insight Manager to join them as soon as possible.
This role is paying £42,149 – £46,042 per annum dependent on experience and is working at home with flexibility to work in the Milton Keynes campus office when required..
About the Role
Key responsibilities of the role will be to work with the People Systems, Data and Insight Manager to develop the People MI and Insight strategy, to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the strategic objectives of People Services and the University. The role holder will support in the design and provision of People Management Information and Insight.
This opportunity comes at an exciting time as the area continues to build on its capability to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to HR insight.
Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with the team you will need to develop the PS MI and Insight strategy to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the strategic objectives of People Services and the University.
Provide expert HR Insight advice and predictive analytics to the leadership on HR KPIs and key workforce metrics, producing reports, identifying critical trends and making recommendations to improve and drive business performance
Prepare People Services MI & Insight papers required for University Governance committees and liaise with the Governance team to ensure all requirements and Management information is provided within plan and prioritised appropriately
Lead, manage, develop and motivate MI Analysts to ensure the successful delivery of the People Services MI & Insight proposition to People Services colleagues and to clients within the University.
Lead on the development and maintenance of PSMI end to end processes to support wider People Services activities, for example, senior staff pay review.
Provision of complex and detailed technical expertise on PSMI within the People Services function and the University.
Skills and Experience
Extensive HRMI and Insight technical expertise within a large and complex organisation
Extensive experience in a specialist MI and Insight role, operating with a high degree of autonomy within a regulated procedural context.
Technical skills include proven experience in the following:
Advanced Excel, including; complex VLookups, Index and matching, array formulas, complex SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, Macros
Experienced in using Power BI, SAS and MS SQL
Experienced in SAP Success Factors reporting
