Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an HR Officer based in Outskirts of Milton Keynes for a well-established commercial company.  

Summary of the HR Officer role…

Salary: £37,000 per annum
Location: Outskirts of Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 37.5 hours working week

The role…

As the HR Officer your role will involve the following important duties:

General HR duties including dealing with disciplinaries and grievance matters.
Provide coaching and mentoring support for Managers on the performance management and motivation of their team members.
Report on any key HR matrices.
Recruitment responsibilities which includes ensuring all employee resourcing is managed consistently and effectively in line with legislation, policy and good practice.
Support the end-to-end employee cycle from onboarding to exit interviews.
When required, support the HR Admin team with administration tasks and payroll.
Assist managers with identifying training needs and deliver training where necessary. 
Facilitate, design and deliver learning and development activities. 
Stay up to date with GDPR and ensure correct procedures and guidelines are in place, keeping line managers informed when changes are made.
To be familiar with the Company Handbook and supporting policies, including Health and Safety legislation, personal presentation and Fire and Emergency Procedures.
The experience required…

As a successful HR Officer, you will have the following:

Educated to A-Level/NVQ Level 3 standard or above.
CIPD Level 5 or above.
5 or more years experience working within a Generalist HR role.
Experience in managing disciplinary and grievance caseloads. 
Experience undertaking effective recruitment practices including incorporating the use of social media to advertise positions.
Excellent knowledge of employment law. 
Experience dealing with payroll.
Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with persons at all levels.
