HR Manager: Packaging Division
Permanent, Home Based role

Central to our client’s success is their investment in staff, attraction, training, development and retention, all at the heart of their staffing vision, so too is the need to continually attract the very best people to join their already talented team, our client is currently looking to recruit a Senior HR Manager to the Packaging Division of the business.
The Role:
Working closely with, and reporting to, the HRD of the Packaging Division, the primary focus of this role is to drive transformation and change with global responsibilities that include:
· Business Partnering with core functions of the business (Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance)
· Supporting HR Manager colleagues across the various packaging sites
· Leading and delivering Divisional HR Projects, including M & AA activity
The role also has responsibilities for traditional HR Manager activities, at the forefront of which are:
· Talent Management/Reward and Compensation/Employee Engagement/HRIS, Reporting, Analytics
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for ensuring alignment between the business operations and the HR practices and objectives. Applicants should have a clear understanding of the business’s strategy and provide dynamic solutions using their experience and organisational agility to guide decision making
· This role will primarily focus on driving transformation and change in our client’s business, working with the leadership teams to proactively drive this change and deliver the overall strategic vision of the business
· For the global Packaging Division, this role will drive, communicate, and coordinate all annual talent management, performance management, annual bonus, and merit calibration processes with global stakeholders
· The role will serve as the primary liaison with Group HR colleagues, to ensure that the company standards, processes, and ways of working are seamlessly integrated into the Divisions and consistency is applied globally, where required
· The role holder will also act as a project leader for any Divisional M & A activity, including gathering of due diligence information, preparation for consultation requirements, and post-purchase integration project planning, in partnership with local HR
Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree qualified
· Project management skills including the ability to establish and maintain detailed project plans
· Track record of delivering talent management support and employee engagement
· Previous Compensation & Benefits experience and understanding of job grading principles
· Previous experience of managing through a company acquisition or divestment
· Proven aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends
· HRIS systems experience required (Ceridian knowledge preferred) including information retrieval
· Customer-focused with demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with all levels
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a global and dynamic environment
· Committed, focused, able to influence and manage stakeholder and be credible at all levels
· An effective change agent and pragmatist, they will be prepared to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front
