I am supporting a world leading manufacturer in their search for a HR Manager to oversee the running of the HR Department. The ideal candidate will have overall responsibility for employee relations as well as developing and implementing the HR strategy. You will need to keep up to date on and incorporate relevant legislation adhering to local law & company values.

This role includes direct line management of the HR Assistants & Receptionist, working with the HR Team to ensure the work environment is pleasant and transparent. If you are CIPD Level 5 Qualified or above, this may be the perfect role for you.

The Role:

Supervise & develop the people strategy across the UK
To oversee & maintain efficiency around all stages of the employee life cycle including recruitment, induction, payroll & training
Assist & train the department managers on the policies of the company
To actively identify & promote new ideas & processes
Keep up to date with the latest legislation changes & industry practices
Analyse data & prepare reports relating to employee relation matters e.g. staff turnover, absence etc

Essential Skills & Experience:

CIPD Level 5 Qualification as a minimum
A degree in Human Resources or a business-related subject is essential
Experience in a HR leadership or management role
Previous experience within an FMCG environment is desirable
An approachable professional with clear communication skills, both verbal & written
To be able to remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload whilst overseeing the activities of the team
To be committed to personal development as well as the development of the team
