About The Role
Working with the management team you will deliver an effective people strategy with a lead role on industrial and employee relations matters, but supporting ED&I, engagement, performance management and building organisational capability.
You will partner, guide and advise key stakeholders to ensure the application of excellent people practices throughout operational delivery. We’d like you to take a proactive lead on industrial relations matters with key stakeholders and supply chain, including Trade Unions, to ensure effective working practices. You will also need to input into Client Employment and Industrial Relations Forum to develop and implement labour and industrial relations policies that are best in class.
We’d like you to provide practical, proactive HR advice which ensures compliance with employment law and parent company terms and conditions, policies and procedures. Also, provide practical support to managers in all disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and dismissal situations.
It is essential that you provide advice, support and guidance on the Performance Management process.
You will need to work in conjunction with HR functions within parent companies to ensure adherence with relevant contractual terms of employment and the development of best practice policies as appropriate to EKFB JV. You’ll need to provide regular, timely and accurate reports (to agreed formats and timetable) on people matters for both internal and client stakeholders and take a pro-active approach and reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
CIPD Qualified professional
Extensive HR experience gained in a private sector organisation
Proven track record of industrial relations and Trade Union engagement
Knowledge of CIJC NWRA is an advantage
