Our renowned client are currently recruiting for a HR / People Business Partner on an initial 3 month contract, looking to start ASAP. The role will be based 4 days from home and 1 from the Milton Keynes office.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a HR Manager / People Business Partner role and be confident providing expert, professional HR advice and coaching to managers. Within the role you will work within the team and will be focussed on wellbeing, business change, employee support and people planning amongst others.
Key Responsibilities
* A trusted partner and active member of the business unit leadership team, contributing to and influencing the development of the unit agenda and strategy, providing challenge and consulting support for short, medium and longer term objective planning. Ability to use a coaching style and engage Senior stakeholders, quickly building credibility through professional effectiveness and using personal experience of being an influential partner on strategic projects.
* Proactively use tangible and intangible workforce information and business intelligence to work with the unit leadership to deliver desired business outcomes.
* Champion People Services initiatives across the business area and gain acceptance from key stakeholders.
* Support the development of strategic People Services thinking in senior managers including succession planning and talent management.
* Act as the key interface to the business, responding flexibly and strategically to changing customer requirements. Responsible for delivering an excellent end-to-end customer experience through collaborative relationships with the Areas of Expertise to build effective people solutions.
* Provide leadership on the people aspects of business plans and provide input, influence and solutions on people and organisational issues including resourcing, capability build, talent and development, reward, organisational design, change management, employee relations, performance management and employee engagement. .
* Support, develop and coach senior stakeholders in relation to people issues, identifying opportunities for greater employee engagement and improved internal communications. Working in partnership with senior leaders to fully understand the culture and engagement levels of the business area and ensure this is high on their people agenda.
* Ensure business units are provided with effective, accurate and timely People Management Information to enable effective business decisions.
* Advise and support managers in the analysis of People management information and workforce data in order to develop effective workforce structures and provide advice and guidance on the strategic resourcing of these structures.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a large public sector organisation, and hold a Level 5 CIPD qualification, however this isn’t essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation on an initial 3 month contract with potential for contract extensions.
You will work on a hybrid based working 4 days from home and 1 day in the office in Milton Keynes
