Due to our client's continued success we are looking for an HR Assistant to join the head office of a large organisation located in Milton Keynes.
Working within the Human Resources department the job holder will identify development needs, design, create and deliver Learning and Development solutions across the organisation at every level.
This role will also be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of the day-to-day operations of the People & Recruitment department alongside the other HR Assistant.
This will include but not be limited to:
• Working alongside the Head of HR, creating an organisational L&D strategy
• Liaising with the Group Marketing department to ensure that Learning & Developments events are published and communicated
• Providing a reliable point of contact for all L&D matters, and answering training related issues
• Investigating and researching L&D practices in order to meet organisational, departmental and individual training requirements and development needs
• Maintaining up-to-date training and development records for all staff
• Making all bookings for external training and processing invoices for payments to external providers
• Assisting the HR Advisers in administration of new starters, leavers and variations of contracts
• Assisting with other HR projects and administration
To be successful you will have:
• Previous experience of working in an L&D role
• CIPD part qualified or must be working towards it.
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office and proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong writing and proof-reading skills, with the ability to draft correspondence independently
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to exercise absolute discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
• Full and valid UK driving licence
