Are you looking for a new role in HR? We are working with our client to recruit a HR Advisor for a prestigious company in Milton Keynes.
We are looking for an HR Advisor to join an established team, due to company growth. The role will work with the HRBP(s) in their business sectors to support the Line Managers in day to day HR service and advice. You will work with Managers, Stakeholders and Teams to help implement strategies and activities within their business.
The role is based in Milton Keynes, but includes minimal travel to two further sites when required.
The client is looking for a HR Advisor who has solid knowledge and experience within HR and implementation of employment law. You will provide HR advice and support for all activities related to HR to include resourcing, employee relations, induction, learning and development to include employee relations training and reviewing existing HR policies and suggesting changes were necessary. This role has a high level of Employee Relations, so experience in this is imperative.
The ideal candidate will have both the knowledge and abilities to:
Relevant knowledge of employment law, policies and procedures and best practice
Experience of working within a team but also able to work independently
Able to own and drive projects and implement new initiatives
Use HR systems to access, input and compile data
Ability to identify development needs
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
An analytical approach, being able to research and analyse within deadlines and tight time frames
Good listening skills, being approachable, personable and empathetic, with mediation skills, but also being firm when required
