About the HR Advisor role:
This is an exciting, challenging and busy role that will support the organisation in delivering high-quality effective HR Service that meets the needs of the organisation and its objectives.
This post will play a key role in advising manages and employees on all legislative matters, policies and procedures and good people management.
This is a true generalist role that will see you get involved with all HR related activity that includes, but is not limited to, HR administration, employee relations matters, well-being, HR project work as well as acting as the department’s “superuser” to maintain and support the internal HR system and to own and develop the HR metrics and reporting activity.
This is a fast-paced and demanding role which will require a high level of resilience and organisation.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a highly credible and talented HR Advisor, who is interested in the full spectrum of HR.
You will be someone that either has experience in a similar role, or you are a senior HR Administrator looking for the next step up. You should definitely have the ability to "hit the ground running".
You will need demonstrate your ability to manage employee relations cases which can range from absence management, performance, flexible working, all family policy related matters, disciplinaries and grievances and be comfortable managing these from end to end.
As well as ER matters, you will be expected to be involved with all HR activity which will include general administrative duties, producing reports, supporting project work as required and work with the HR team to provide a HR service fit for purpose
Having an understanding of and an interest in HR Information Systems would be a huge advantage.
To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively and with confidence to people at all levels, be able to establish trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders and work well under pressure.

Your skills and qualifications:
Essential
* Case coaching experience, ethics cases, absence cases, grievances etc
* Generalist HR experience
* Experience in Investigations
* Employee relations knowledge & experience.
* Ability to organise your own time & diary
* CIPD level 3/5 qualification – or working towards, or relevant experience in a similar role
