HR Advisor
We are looking for an HR Advisor / Executive to work in our Milton Keynes office to develop staff engagement in addition to general HR duties.
HR Advisor Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing policies aimed at improving staff engagement.
• Supporting the HR Manager with strategic HR projects.
• Working with line managers to ensure that staff are looked after, developed and supported, particularly during the current pandemic.
• Working across offices and with the central HR Hub in Nantwich (head office) to ensure process alignment / best practice etc.
• Leading initiatives concerning wellbeing, work/life balance and staff welfare.
• Supporting the HR Manager and line managers with the day-to-day HR challenges (disciplinary / performance management etc.).
• Supporting other business functions as required (e.g., Resourcing).
• Policy development and ensuring the department is compliant with ISO9001 standards.
• Some general office management duties will be required (Milton Keynes).
Overall, you should be able to provide qualified, expert support to teams and work with the HR Manager to continuously improve the department.
HR Advisor Requirements:
We are looking for a qualified, experienced HR professional with a minimum level 5 CIPD accredited qualification in HR or HR Management. Above all, we are looking for someone with the gravitas and experience to slot quickly into a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment to make a difference to the workforce. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate:
• Sound technical knowledge, particularly of Employee Engagement, Mental Health in the workplace and wellbeing.
• Strong awareness of up-to-date developments within HR.
• A creative and forward-thinking approach to policy development; ROI prides itself on its ‘family feel’ and progressive culture. You should be proactive and driven.
• Resilience and proactivity; ROI is a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong written and oral communication skills.
• It will help your application to be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge gained in a service based, B2B environment (e.g., contact centres).
• Good IT skills: experience of using CIPHr or comparable HR Management Systems will be beneficial.

ROI is a fast-growth, award-winning business employing over 300 people across 4 sites. The business engages in Business Process Outsourcing, providing IT and people-based services to the Automotive industry. We work with a growing and increasingly broad client-base, covering major, global car manufacturers including BMW, PSA Groupe, Volkswagen Group and Hyundai in addition to major leasing companies.
The majority of our workforce is engaged in B2B work, however we have recently expanded our services to include 2 B2C contact centres with Kia Motors and Honda. The business has adapted well to the COVID-19 pandemic; nearly all our staff are working remotely which has enabled us to maintain services to clients. Although the business has scored well in internal staff satisfaction surveys, it is more important than ever for us to look after the workforce, increase staff engagement and ensure that wellbeing is front and centre.
Location: Milton Keynes (home-based during COVID-19)
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: up to £35,000 per annum
