Bletchley Park, a vibrant heritage attraction, open daily to visitors, revealing the secrets and telling fascinating stories of the secret British World War Two codebreaking operations are seeking a Head Of Human Resources to join their team on a part time basis working 25 hours per week, ideally over 4 or 5 days.

As the Head of Human Resources at Bletchley Park you will:
Lead on the delivery of our People Strategy, as well as managing the day-to-day requirements of the HR function
Deliver an employee focussed approach where HR processes support business needs and add value.
Be responsible for all HR and payroll services.
Play a vital role in developing and promoting best practice in key areas such as recruitment, HR policy / procedure, onboarding, people development, employee and volunteer welfare, internal communications and performance management.
Nurture employee and volunteer relations
Engage with volunteers and support volunteer managers.
Ensure appropriate legal compliance for employment matters throughout the organisation.
At Bletchley Park, we are looking for a Head of Human Resources with the following:
CIPD-qualified generalist with strong influencing skills and extensive ‘hands on’ employee relations experience.
Excellent inter-personal and written communication skills, strong numeracy and IT literacy
An ability to effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice who can demonstrate how they can apply this is in a practical and proactive manner.
Experience of payroll processing and related duties.
Experience of setting standards and managing HR systems.
In return the Head of Human Resources will receive a salary between £24,667 and £27,333 (based on £37-£41k FTE) dependent on experience plus 25 days leave, including statutory holidays (based on 38 days FTE), company pension scheme, death-in-service and healthcare cash-plan.
