Our established client is currently looking to recruit 2x Employee Relations Case Managers on 4 month contracts, looking to start ASAP. The role will predominantly be based from home, however an occasionally day in the Milton Keynes office will be expected.
The successful candidate will be an established HR Advisor / Case Manager who is confident working in a large environment on some complex cases. You will be CIPD qualified, have a strong working knowledge of Employment Law and be confident working on a range of cases.
Key duties
* Being responsible for the effective management of a portfolio of formal cases, providing ER advice and guidance and supporting managers through complex formal cases. This may include disciplinary and grievance investigations, capability and performance related cases, hearing and appeals, whistleblowing and Bullying and Harassment cases. Advice and support provided must comply with employment law, best practice, be aligned to OU policies, with risk being managed appropriately.
* Drafting high quality and complex meeting plans and letters of communication, reviewing and advising on the format and content of investigation reports and on occasions, drafting reports on behalf of managers.
* Provide all administration relating to formal cases, production of letters, organisation of meetings, storage of all case files and ensuring the appropriate systems, including the Case Management system, are maintained to agreed standards in a timely manner.
* Work with the Senior ER Case Manager to develop key performance indicators and systems for monitoring, reporting, and improving performance against those indicators, as well as producing and interrogating management information and case data, identifying trends/patterns, and providing insight to Stakeholders and People Business Partners.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Trade Union colleagues.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD Level 7 Qualified, however this isn’t essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation on an initial 4 month contract with opportunities for contract extensions
