Domestic Electrician

Salary & Benefits: £32,000 to £35,000 negotiable, depending on experience pa + 29 days paid annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays) + van + fuel card + iphone + training opportunities + career progression opportunities

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm + paid out of hours on call rota (1 in 3 weekends).

Location: Varied – Central & South Midlands

Role & Responsibilities:

* This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious & enthusiastic qualified electrician to join a dynamic and growing company

* Your role will provide training and career progression opportunities

* Your day will be varied. Attending various locations, your day will consist of remedial work as well as varied electrical work on both occupied new build and established homes

* From fault finding to installing lighting or supplying power to a garage or a garden, you will enjoy a variety of different work each day

* You will be self-motivated, be able to use own initiative, problem solve as well as have fantastic customer service skills

* You will participate in a paid out of hours on call rota (1 in 3 weekends)

* Electrical work in customers’ homes

* Daily reporting to head office

Person:

* Sound knowledge of both fixed wiring & installation works

* Customer service skills and customer focused

* Ability to identify faults

* Ability to think on your feet, act on own initiative & to adapt to any given situation

* Self-motivated & a methodical working attitude

* Excellent communication skills

* Sound IT skills required in order to report using electronic diary system

* Full Driving Licence

Required Experience:

* Electrical maintenance/Fault Finding: 1 year

Required Qualifications:

* Hold a valid ECS Gold Card: Installation Electrician or above

* City & Guilds 2392 Inspection & Testing

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671
