Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Partner / D&I Specialist
Buckinghamshire / Northamptonshire
Paying up to £80k + Bonus + Car
I am looking for an experienced Diversity & Inclusion Specialist to join a leading private sector business based in Buckinghamshire. This brand-new role will allow you to be creative and revolutionise the organisations' diversity & inclusion strategy and commitments. You will develop a coalition of partners to implement systemic change across the employee life cycle, including employer brand and talent acquisition, talent management and career development, employee engagement and culture, and leadership and employee learning.
Key responsibilities:
*You will be a leading member of the HR team
*Works as part of an internal inclusion team.
*Lead the development and execution of the business D&I strategy, in close collaboration with the internal inclusion team, HR, talent management, recruitment, and business partners, to define priorities, goals, and measures of success.
*Acts as a Diversity & Inclusion subject matter expert by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge, and taking a systematic approach to help the business to achieve measurable results.
*Leverage's data and defines key performance indicators by creating metrics, measures and clear outcomes that help show progress and drive accountability.
*Working across various business units and teams to support their inclusive decision-making.
*Drive D&I goal attainment through programme management and defined project plans; manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation, and communications for programme/process rollout.
*Drives a culture focused on listening, learning and acting so that the different experiences of people at work are understood and plans are put in place to close experience gaps.
What skills we are looking for:
*CIPD Qualified or commensurate experience
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
*Experience in stakeholder management up to MD level.
*Experience driving a D&I strategy by running programmes & initiatives to fulfil goals and demonstrate measurable progress.
*Interest in researching D&I best practices, including ongoing education.
*Manage and nurture community relationships.
*Understanding of EU/UK regional nuances, including languages, cultural norms, and laws.
*Strong understanding of societal systems of bias, and ability to apply this knowledge to invent, evolve, improve, and simplify business and HR processes.
*Experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve results over the long term.
*Provide leadership coaching, when appropriate, to managers and Directors via one-to-one and group interactions.
*Influence and partner with cross-functional working teams, including both HR and business team members, to launch on-time, effective programmes.
*Knowledge of data tracking and an ability to analyse data to measure results.
*Ability to proactively identify risks/issues and challenges and then providing solutions & resolving these.
*Excellent high levels of quality in all documentation produced.
*Excellent written, verbal communication & interpersonal skills.
