We are supporting a market leading company based in the Milton Keynes area, looking for an experienced Depot Foreman, with an immediate start.
This company has a real family feel that are needing someone who has good organisation skills. You will need to be flexible and be able to build working relationships amongst your peers and customers.
It is expected to have an engineering background in plant & diesel engine maintenance. Detailed knowledge of generators preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to are as follows:
Supervising and organising the work schedules for a staff
Liaise, delegate jobs, monitor and supervise other employees
Raising job sheets and invoicing customers for damages and repairs
Hands on involvement in repairing, servicing and preparing of equipment within the depot
Supervise unloading and loading of all lorries
Adhere to H&S policy and to make sure staff are following these guidelines
Attend customer call outs by using company vehicle
Liaise with store department to ensure stock levels are maintained
Be flexible to be able to go on the on call rota
Carry out general housekeeping and encourage others to also do the same
Comply with company procedures and contribute to this to enable continuous improvements
The ideal candidate will need:
Full UK Driving Licence
Fork Lift Licence preferred
ADR Licence preferred
HGV 1 Licence preferred
Lorry Loader Licence preferred
