Great opportunity for an experienced warehouse/ yard person to work for an expanding company based just outside Aylesbury and within twenty minutes from both High Wycombe and Oxford. Being an experienced warehouse person you will benefit from a varied role and have a range of skills from the Logistics industry.

The role will be eighty percent on your feet loading lorries, general warehouse duties in dispatch, looking for parts for deliveries and working in the yard. The position is physically demanding and would ideally suit someone with similar experience. The other twenty percent of the role will be more office based working on a bespoke ERP stock management system so you will get variety in your day.

Working in the Logistics section of the company you will be part of a small team of three with the majority of work being warehouse tasks, helping the drivers handballing parts on and off lorries in all weather conditions, other duties include unloading vehicles ( forklift licence useful but not essential training given )

Hours of work in dispatch are 8am starts, finishing at the earliest 5.30pm, most days drivers can arrive back late so flexibility is essential. Showing that flexibility will in turn allow you to earn more money in overtime so you will get a chance to increase your income on a weekly basis.

Contracted working hours – Monday-Friday. 8.00am – 5.30pm, holidays – 22 holidays per annum plus bank holidays (Increasing with Length of Service) Pension – 4% contribution match

Recap and overview of what you will do, managing and assisting in the loading/unloading of vehicles and tie-down of equipment including handballing equipment at times, marshalling vehicles around the yard, goods-in of hire plant, dispatch of hire plant, recording of missing items and damages to plant, exchange of plant, depot transfer of plant, office administration and liaising with the sales team.
