Warehouse Team Leader

Milton Keynes

£14.47 per hour

ACS are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the nation's largest prestigious retailers. They are looking for driven & enthusiastic Team Leaders across their two Milton Keynes sites. Working closely with the Shift Managers, you will be responsible for building strong relationships and working in partnership with the management team, you will be an ambassador of engagement for our agency colleagues that ensures a positive overall experience, and effective management of attendance, performance and conduct. You will promote, develop and deliver an outstanding customer experience in performing duties with care and diligence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Be the first point of contact for all new agency colleagues ensuring that they are welcomed to the site and have a positive experience
Ensure new starters are provided with all the relevant information about working at the site and expectations of being an agency colleague
Monitoring general behaviour of agency staff including health and safety procedures and general work ethic
Conduct monthly listening sessions with agency colleagues across all shifts
Reporting on performance to the site management team and ACS Account Manager
Support section managers with giving feedback to staff and having difficult conversations if necessary
Organise relevant training and support for individuals
Support in the training of agency colleagues where required
In busy periods helping support operational roles

What are we looking for?

Ability to prioritise and plan work effectively
Ability to produce reports and present information in a professional manner
Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop professional working relationships with key stakeholders
High level of IT Skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Excellent work ethic
Flexibility with regards to working hours as will need to support all 3 shifts during the week
Full UK driving licence is essential
