Equipment specialist based in Buckingham are looking to recruit a temporary Warehouse Operative in the New Year.

Main Duties:
*Cross checking all goods entering the warehouse against delivery notes
*Using RF scanners (BIT Systems) to keep accurate records of all parts/ equipment entering and exiting the warehouse
*Allocating stock to its rightful place within stores
*Ensure the workplace is kept tidy and organised
*Packing consignments ready for dispatch
*Manual lifting of gearboxes and engines
*Palletising parts ready for dispatch
*Loading and unloading equipment
*Using SAGE 50 software to check information regarding incoming and outgoing parts/ equipment
*Ensure adequate stock levels of all main spare parts
*Segregating and labelling equipment that enters stores under warranty claims
*Liaising with the spare parts department and Engineers, to correctly answer customer queries
*Serving the public, delivering an excellent level of customer service

Skills Required:
*Experience working within an industrial/ heavy plant warehouse environment
*A sufficient level of physical fitness/ strength to carry out manual lifting
*Excellent communication skills
*Good customer service skills
*Counterbalance Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
*Crane license (desirable but not essential)
*Computer literacy- Previous experience using in house warehouse/ stock management software (Sage 50 desirable but not essential)

This role is being advertised as a temporary. However, this could potentially turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Working hours:
09:00- 17:00 Monday to Friday
Salary:
£9.00- £10.50 per hour dependent on experience/ relevant licenses to operate machinery
