Would you be interested in being part of a brand-new start-up? Do you have warehouse experience and looking to join a reputable company? If so, we have a new site start-up for one of our existing customers, an iconic blue-chip food retailer! Sounds interesting right? Would you like to be a part of it?
We are looking for full-time, permanent Warehouse Operatives to come and join us at our site in Milton Keynes! You will be working 40 hours per week and with this being a new start up, this will initially being Monday-Friday with this moving onto an any 5 from 7 shift pattern when the operation is in full swing. You fixed shift pattern will be 14:00 – 22:00.
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer an hourly rate of £10 per hour plus you will receive a 8% increase on this if you are working the late shift. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday, access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
· During start up, you will be supporting the site operations team and being involved in implementing processes and systems to be able to deliver objectives effectively
· Operative MHE inline with training and ensuring all safety processes are followed on every occasion
· Meet all your personal targets and objectives whilst carrying tasks out accurately and with a high quality
· Operate and understand Warehouse Management systems and undertake any other assigned computer-based tasks when required
What you need to succeed at XPO:
· You must be team-focussed – this is a site start up and will only succeed with a joint effort!
· Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced logistics environment
· Understanding of Warehouse practices including health and safety
· Previous experience of operating MHE equipment – if you have an FLT licence, this would be a bonus
