K&D are delighted to be working with a multi-million pound international, manufacturing company based in High Wycombe!! Our client are looking to employ another Warehouse FLT Driver to join an existing team of 5 staff.

The hours are days only 8-6 Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week, ( these are the hours the business is open, flexi hours available providing you work 37.5 hours a week )

What you should expect in the role? It is an interactive hands-on role and full training will be provided. You must be diligent and able to communicate effectively, record data where applicable and be flexible in your approach.

Ideally the successful candidate will have worked in a similar role within a warehouse environment, be flexible on duties and hours to suit the needs of the business. A current BENDI forklift truck licence preferred however if you have a reach / counterbalance licence this will also be consider and full training will be given. You will also require a full valid driver's licence.

What you will be doing ? Loading and offloading trucks. Sorting and replenishing picking locations. Putting stock away and cycle counting. Picking and packing orders. Stock rotation. Light Assembly work. Lifting and moving products up to 23kg in weight may be required.

Pack goods for dispatch. Ensure all packages contain the correct items and have the correct address. To ensure correct recording of despatches on documents and in the "carriers" book where applicable. Possible deliveries using company Vehicles.

Unloading trucks by hand. Uphold high standards in job delivery with a conscientious and pro – active approach. Follow health and safety instructions to ensure a safe working environment. Use effective verbal and written communication skills to cooperate proficiently with colleagues and associates.

Keep work area tidy and safe at all times. To assist on other sections of the warehouse as and when required.

You will also be required to work with the following departments from time to time, Warehouse Staff. Purchasing. Customer Service. Engineering. Service Engineers

Key Competencies and Requirements? Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be IT literate and proficient with MS Office. Must adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines for the use of equipment, and maintain a safe working environment

Forklift truck licence and relevant experience. Full valid driver's licence.

Personal Attributes? Conscientious, hardworking, and flexible individual who has the ability to work effectively whilst maintaining accuracy. A team player in a cross functional work environment. Hand-on and physically active. Confident with technology and software systems. Good attention to detail.
