Translation Proof-Reader with Chinese

Translation Proof-Reader with Chinese Responsibilities:

Based at our modern offices in Gerrards Cross, Bucks, you will be a part of an international team of approximately sixty Linguistic Revisors. Your work will involve word-by-word checking of translations prepared by in-house and external technical staff and sometimes adapting existing translations to conform to new versions of source documents.

All training is given “on the job” by experienced members of the team who will monitor work and provide in-depth feedback. With annual and ad-hoc reviews related to individual performance and ability, we firmly believe in supporting people to reach their full potential.

Translation Proof-Reader with Chinese Requirements:

We are seeking applications from talented graduate linguists looking to translate their language skills into a rewarding career with:

English mother tongue and a degree in Chinese.
Applicants must have excellent language skills, well-developed critical faculties and good powers of concentration.
**Please note, this role is temporarily remote due to COVID-19, however, will be expected to be office based once it is safe to do so.

Contract type: Full Time, Permanent, (09:00 – 17:30, with one hour for lunch – 37.5 hours per week)

Salary: £23,750 per annum
