Translation Proof-Reader (English with French and German)

Translation Proof-Reader Responsibilities:

Based at our modern offices in Gerrards Cross, Bucks, you will be a part of an international team of approximately sixty Linguistic Revisors. Your work will involve word-by-word checking of translations prepared by in-house and external technical staff and sometimes adapting existing translations to conform to new versions of source documents.

Translation Proof-Reader Requirements:

We are seeking applications from talented graduate linguists looking to translate their language skills into a rewarding career with:

. English mother tongue and a degree in German and French.

Applicants must have excellent language skills, well-developed critical faculties and good powers of concentration.

Location: RWS Head Office, Chalfont St Peter (SL9) (Temporarily remote due to COVID-19)

Contract type: Full Time, Permanent, Permanent (09:00 – 17:30, with one hour for lunch (37.5 hours per week))

Salary: £23,750 per annum
