We are currently looking for Team Leader supporting all Shop Floor Staff to attain high levels of welfare, morale and productivity to include:
Welcome new staff, introduce them too their team members. Making frequent visits totheirworkstationduringtheirearlydaystoenquire,howtheyaredoingandiftheyhaveanyconcerns.
Greeting all staff on every shift, and developing a good rapport.
Being available in all areas of the Press Shop, Welding Shop, Sheet Metal Shop , Tool Room and maintenance.
Bringing to Managements attention any concerns regarding:
Health & Safety or Environmental Issues.
Good work place behaviours and practices,including moral,respect,bad language,motivation,ability and responsiveness.
Ensure all shop floor staff fully understand the strict adherence to their starting and, finishing times and breaktimes.
Monitor the hygiene/condition of all shop floor toilets and canteen/break facilities at least once per shift and report any concerns.
Encourage all staff to wear the correct PPE at all times, reporting non compliance to H & S Manager. Encourage staff to be productively engaged,reporting non compliance to Manager.
Coaching Operatorsin Best Practice Methods,Provide encouragement and praise when appropriate.
Encourage appropriate staffing levels for each activity. Where there is no suitable requirement, operators should be engaging housekeeping/cleaning improvements.
Ensure every Shop Floor employee has a adequate locker facilities, and their personal possession's will be safe and secure.
Ensure heating in winter months is adequate, doors remain closed and machines and lights are turned off when not in use.
Answer all individuals queries satisfactorily ( taking advise)with regard to holidays and entitlement, clocking in and out, absence and sickness, first aid.
Role is full time Monday to Friday, 2pm – 10pm shift.
