Supply Chain Assistant

£24,000 per annum

Milton Keynes (Office based)

We are recruiting for Supply Chain Assistant to join a highly successful manufacturing company within the foodservices and hospitality industry. The primary responsibility is supporting the Supply Chain Manager with stock control and purchasing. Our client works closely together as a "family unit" to develop positive revenue and margin growth where attention to detail is a must!

The ideal candidate will have experience in Supply Chain and a Purchasing Environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Forecast future stock requirements to ensure stock levels are always maintained.

* Maintain accuracy of the stock, including costs, reorder levels, and BOMs.

* Liaise with suppliers regarding stock returns if delivery has incorrect items or if there are quality issues.

* Communicate with all relevant parts of the business any out of stock lines and work to ensure the return of full stock levels.

* Process stock purchase orders reviewing any order confirmation queries, and chase suppliers for deliveries.

* Update system and ensure is always kept up to date.

* Microsoft Dynamics NAV or SAP experience – desirable
