Subcontracted Services Executive – Aylesbury
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Subcontracted Services Executive based from our offices in Aylesbury.
The role of Subcontracted Services Executive is an administrative and support role and will be responsible for sourcing relevant suppliers to the subcontract team. The job will also involve negotiating rates and costs with regards to Third Party suppliers, following invoice reconciliation processes and procedures ensuring that invoices are accurately matched to purchase orders, and other related subcontract activities.
This role is requires the incumbent to possess personal skills such as relationship management, strong communication skills and have a strong sense of customer focus, as they will need to liaise with all levels of Customers, as well as internal stakeholders such as Depots/Customer Services and Account Managers.
The job requires the ability to multi task situations that are live – requiring immediate attention and the ability to deliver a first class Customer Service.
Principal Accountabilities
Source suppliers and negotiate costs, as well as set up contracts and raise purchase orders
Liaising with the Business Development Managers and Account Managers to ensure we meet the customers' needs and requirements throughout mobilisation
Manage supplier escalations from the Account Management and Customer Services teams
Accurate and timely reconciliation of supplier invoices
Work closely with Accounts Payable team to ensure that suppliers' accounts run smoothlyPerson Specification:
Proven administration experience with a customer focussed attitude.
Ability to work in partnership with customers, peer groups and other organisations including suppliers
Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively
Experience of building and maintaining customer and colleague relationships
Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and have a keen eye for detail
Possess strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrate a proactive and "can-do" attitude.
Possess strong computer skills and have a good working knowledge of MS OfficeAbout Biffa:
