Becoming a Solution Architect with Capita:

Fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 4 months contract as a Solution Architect. The Solution Architect will be responsible for creating and designing solutions based on business requirements and scope for one of our most prestigious clients. The role is initially remote based with requirements to be onsite at Milton Keynes or London as the contract progresses.

What you’ll be doing:

·      Create and design and solutions based on Business requirements and scope

·      Provide Options papers to help guide the business, in identifying the right solutions, along with EPICS (Big Use Cases), Use Cases, User Stories, Wireframes Functional and Non-functional Requirements.

·      Provide support, guidance and contribute to Programme and Project managers.

What we’re looking for:

Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, excellent in solution design, developing and implementing sustainable and scalable solutions that follow service management processes and procedures
Experience within ITIL and TOGAF frameworks, along with Prince 2 methodologies
Experience defining Security solutions, good understanding of ISO27001
Experience in selecting and applying service management principles, policies and techniques in client operational environments
Experience of working at a senior Operations management level
Experience of IT outsource models including experience in developing and using ITO cost models
Experience of working in large transformation programmes
Experience working in the rail industry is highly desirable
