Our Milton Keynes based client has a need for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join the team and take responsibility for the sales ledger. The role leans heavily towards reconciliations and data integrity, with credit control being approximately 25%-30% of the tasks.
Reporting to the finance manager, you will be responsible for multi-site sales ledger activities, including:
* Ensuring a “clean” sales ledger across all sites
* Cash postings
* Daily ledger reconciliations, across different systems
* Resolving invoice queries
* Raising credit notes and re-invoicing where necessary
* Credit control by telephone, letter, and following the CCJ process when required
* Following existing systems but also developing / enhancing processes
* Debtor analysis
* Ad hoc reporting
The ideal candidate will have previous sales ledger experience, with attention to detail and be someone who takes pride in their work. They will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Sage 50 experience would be advantageous but not essential.
* £28,000 – £31,000pa DOE
* Hours of work 37.5 hours per week, (Monday to Friday), flexible start and finish times
* 23 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
