Senior Purchasing Analyst

Are you an experienced data or financial analyst with a sharp attention to detail?
Do you have a passion for food and drink?

Based in Milton Keynes they have helped some of the UK's biggest and most prestigious brands in the Food and hospitality industry to optimise and improve their procurement performance. Due to their continued success and growth they are now seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Analyst to join the team.
The successful person will have a strong background in Data Management and providing Management Information and will have ideally had some experience in the Food and Beverage Industry or FMCG. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Analyst who is looking for a new exciting challenge with plenty of headroom to develop their career with a leading consultancy business
The key purpose of the role is to manage and provide high quality analysis and reports in a timely manner for our clients and provide peer level support to the Purchasing Analysts.

Candidates we would love to hear from should have the following:
*Previous experience in an analytical role;
*Previous experience of coaching and developing others;
*A keen interest in food & beverages or previous experience of working in this industry;
*Enjoys variety and happy to work on many projects simultaneously;
*Able to work to tight deadlines but whilst maintaining accuracy;
*Have excellent attention to detail and a natural desire to question data when they do not look right
*Great telephone and face to face communication skills;
*Team player;
*Excellent level of IT competence including Microsoft Windows Software and in particular Excel;
*Able to work under pressure; and
*Keen to acquire new skills and develop existing ones.
