Our MRFs across the UK use a combination of advanced mechanical sorting and manual quality control to separate materials into individual streams, ready to be put back to work. We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Recycling Operative, Level 3, to join our team in Milton Keynes, working 50 hours a week.

Our Recycling Operative will be qualified to operate mobile plant such as FLT above 2.5 tonnes with forks or clamps and/or wheeled loading shovel and ensure a safe and efficient day to day operation in line with Health and Safety practices.

You will undertake duties within the site recycling operation, as required or directed. This will include but not limited to, picking activity, bale trimming, general cleaning, quality control operations, traffic coordination, basic maintenance activity where supervised and directed alng with any other reasonable operational requirements. You will also operate fixed plant and assist with minor maintenance directly associated with the level operative role and does not require a certified maintenance engineer.

Our ideal Recycling Operative:

• Previous experience in a similar operational role or environment
• Experience of operating in a production or recycling environment
• High concentration levels and attention to detail
• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and Fixed Plant certificate
• Wheeled Loading Shovel licence.
• Ability to maintain a good standard of performance, daily checks & record keeping, compliance with the company's written procedures and Health and Safety standards.
• Good knowledge of plant and machinery relevant to waste recycling and recovery
